The Superkey is a multi-purpose key available on certain Mitel telephones. Pressing it launches a softkey-driven menu for activating a selection of call control features, including Call Forwarding, Do Not Disturb, and Auto Answer. It's also used to program keys on the phone and to customize settings such as the ringer pitch, the language of the labels on the display, and the PIN used to log in to the phone as a hot desk user.
Users can also press the Superkey (or a busy line key) to invoke a Key Inquiry session. On an idle set, pressing the Superkey followed by a programmable key will display the DN, Name and the Direct Inward Dialing (DID) Service number (as the Calling Party Substitution) associated with the DN programmed on that line (not supported on 69xx IP Phones). When a call is active, pressing the busy line key shows the same information on supported line types (see Conditions and Feature Interactions for a list of type). Pressing the Superkey followed by the busy Line key will display the caller information.
Below are the features available via Superkey. Also shown are
alternate ways of invoking feature, that is, softkey, programmable feature key, feature access code, Settings key, and external application via MiTAI.

Enable "Use DID Number for Outgoing Calls" if the user has DID Service number programmed and wants to use Key Inquiry to display the DID number of a call on a line key.
NOTE: Does not apply to 69xx IP Phones.
Some phones (for example, 52xx phones) have a dedicated Superkey. Others, such as 53xx SAC phones, can be programmed with a Superkey from the phone itself (or via ESM) and also provide it as a selectable option under the Settings (blue) key. 69xx phones can be programmed with a Superkey but only via ESM.
On 69xx IP Phones, the press-and-hold method can be used to program or edit the features and associated labels. To program other features, use the Desktop Tool or the User and Services Configuration or Multiline Set Keys forms.
Long Key Press introduced in MiVoice Business Release 8.0 removes the need to use the Superkey to invoke the Superkey menu. On 69xx phones, Long Key Press is also used to launch a key programming application similar to the Superkey but with a reduced selection of features.
On 53xx phones, Non-Prime Public Network Identity COS must be enabled on the Prime line for Single, Multicall and Key System line Key Inquiry support.
Pressing the Superkey followed by the Hold or Transfer/Conference key will exit the Superkey session and invoke the respective function in all the supported devices except 5140, 5235,and 5240 IP devices.
Supported on all devices.
